Programs Needed:

P2KToolsVS_3.0.7.759(or newer version)

Motorola_MIDway_v2.8(download and install both of these)

For installation of games or apps on xp:

1st

Connect phone to computer and open pktools. (make sure your connected, in lower left corner of pktools it should say connected or V3re, or there should be a green dot) If not then go here and learn how to get connected: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132141

2nd

In pktools press 'hidden settings' tab located at top.

3rd

On the left side click 'java'

4th

Press the 'get values' tab.

5th

Check the box that says 'Settings>Java Settings>Java App Loader

6th

Press the 'set values' tab. Now click phone pic for drop menu in upper left corner, and restart phone from here. When phone has rebooted disconnect from computer.

7th

On the phone go to 'Settings' / 'Java Settings' / Java App Loader' turn it on. Phone will say 'insert cable now'. Connect to computer and open Midway. Try diff com port settings if phone does'nt connect to Midway. This is common. Also make sure jad and jar files are located in the same file.

8th

In Midway click the 'Open Jad' button located above the 'Suite Info' tab. Find game folder and open jad file. Now you will see all the suite info. Directly to the right of the 'Open Jad' button is the 'Send Jad' button. Click it. Now phone will ask to 'Cancel or 'Download'?(download) Then Phone will ask 'Not a signed application continue'?(yes) Once its done downloading it will ask 'Run', either select yes and play or you can go right back to midway and install more.

Mobiles24.com is a free site. (unless you want to pay and get premium access) All you have to do is register. You only get 30 free downloads a day. You can also upload as well if you want to share anything you've got. The jad files they offer with the games need to be tweeked to work with V3re phones. I have a guide for that. Or I've heard about a program called jadmaker that can be used as well. It has had good reviews from what I've seen so far.
